Hello, I am not a BB Gun guy and need some help with two which I have acquired. I went through the postings through 2003 and did not find any reference to them Any information and estimate of value would be appreciated as I intend to sell them. They are a Daisy Model 220 and a Daisy Model 225. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The Daisy mod.220 is a .177cal. Diana type air rifle made in Scotland[Milbro Co.] [1965-1970].The mod.225 is also a .177 cal. made by the same company[1971-1974].These are inexpensive air rifles that were not made to the quality of the Dianas[made in Germany].The blue book values follow, these are just a guide and by no means the final pricing.

Daisy mod.220=95%-$60.90%-$40
......mod.225=95%-$90,90%-$45

I believe that most likely the 225 is the last of the model 25 series that daisy made and is a gravity feed gun. I think they were made from 1991 to 1993. I don't think the diane was a 225, but models 220 and 230, but could be mistaken.

The person who asked for info.stated he has both a Daisy mod.220 and also a mod.225,this would lead me to believe they are the guns I mentioned in my answer,Daisy had a mod.250 which was also made in Scotland which was part of this series of air rifles.[all spring operated break barrel air rifles.The Diana branded guns did not use the same numbers designation as the numbers assigned to the ones made especially for the Daisy exported guns.Daisy did make a model 225 [1991-1993]-they were a pump action with plastic stocks,to my knowledge I dont believe these were related to the mod.25 series of air rifles.

With the info stated that this probably is the springer version 225. I just wanted to mention that there was a 225 slide rifle also.
