My Father recently passed away and as long as i can remember he's had a Daisy 25 BB gun. He was born in 1932 and probably got it as a boy. My Mother is trying to sell it and has no idea its value, when it was made, and how best to sell it.

Any help woudl be appreciated. It has 7 rings on the wooden "pump" at the end of the gun. I tried to attach photos but it seems confusing on how to do it on this site (have to join some website called photobucket???)

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

You can list it on our new auction site. www.AirgunAuction.com
or the older site link will be at top of page.

Make sure sure take a closeup of the end of the barrel, It looks like it may have a problem.

The worth of your Daisy Model 25

March 30 2008, 10:31 PM

I was at a gun show today in Taylor,MI a man had 8 or 10 of those same 25's.He had them priced from $50 to $95 for a really nice one from the 30's or 40's..He did have 1 a 1936 like new in the box for $150.I almost bought it but my wife would have killed me.I don't want to die over a BB GUN !

Good Luck

Model 25 Daisy

April 17 2008, 12:16 AM

Wow. I have seen a great deal of Model 25 daisy's, but this one looks in bad shape. i have five of them myself, being a gun and air rifle collector. My oldest is a 1950, which my dad bought me on my 10th. birthday. It looks like brand new, and i even have the box it came in. Persons collecting, need to keep the guns cleaned and wiped down all the time. The better they look, the price never goes down, only up.. The Model 25 is a pretty good one to collect, however the older Red Ryders with the removable shot tube bring the most money. Have nine of them, my prize and joys in BB guns.

Looks like a 1936 model

It will have a dimished value because of the condition.

Sometimes silence is golden, sometimes it's not.
