Hello, I am new here which I found from good old google. I have am not by any means an expert on guns let alone air guns. I mostly deal with collectibles and such. Well, I got this estate in which I found this vintage Daisy Air gun. It has the model #111 on it. I really could not find any information on the Model 111. I see lots of information on the model 111 40 but not just the 111.

I am attaching some photos which maybe you could let me know if this air gun is really worth anything. I would say it is from the 1970's era. My next question would be regarding the value of this gun.

Any help and advice would be appreciated!

Regards,
Lorrina

Go to top of page click on value guide. Your gun is missing its forearm.

Checked Value guide but ....

April 23 2008, 3:58 PM

I just went to the value guide and put in as much information as I could. Because there are several choices of the Model 111, I just used my best knowledge of it. There was not data to be given the value.

I understand about the forearm missing since I just now got educated about the forearm when you mentioned it.

Is this gun even worth putting up for auction or should I just trash it?

Regards,
Lorrina

Daisy mod.111

Here is a pic.of a mod.111 I own[it looks bluish because of the lighting, but is the same colr as yours],I gave it to my grandson but my son never gave him the gun so it's back in my possession.I had it up for sale a few years ago and if my memory serves me I couldn't get $60 for it and its in excellent cond.Maybe one day i'll try putting it up on the auction site. You have nothing to lose by putting it up for auction.

When using value guide, you may have to click on the get data button depending on your computer. The model you have is probably the last one under model 111.

Model 111

April 24 2008, 9:00 AM

Hi
The model 111 is a pretty common rifle. The value guide had one going up to 36.00.It dosen't bring much money.I would still put it up for auction and see what happens. At least don't trash it
