I was given a Daisy No 25 for my birthday to replace one I had many decades ago (like 6 decades). The gun appears to be an early one with no patent date and the rear sight blade appears to be broken off. The remainder of the rear sight is present. Can anyone help me with a new rear sight or parts for mine?
Thanks.
Ron
HI BELIEVE I HAVE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NEED TO KNOW IF THE BRACKET THAT HOLDS THE SIGHT IS TOWARDS THE REAR OF RECEIVER OR ABOUT MID WAY ONE WILL TAKE THE FLIP SIGHT AND THE OTHER A BUCK HORN COST OF EITHER SIGHT IS 5.00 PLUS SHIPING
Phillip, thanks for the offer. The rear sight is 2 1/2" long (the round-ended base) and the front of the base is 1 1/8" back from the front of the receiver. Sound right?
If you have one, you definitely have a buyer.

Rear site

I think you probably have the wooden style 25 that has the long site that is held in with a pin. Does it have a little round spring underneath it? If so I know where you can get them, but Phillip may still have them. Thanks, Rusty
If either Rusty or Phillip have a rear sight, I'd definitely like to get it. Please e-mail me with your address and I will send a check. The rear sight is as Rusty describes; old wooden stock gun with no "engraving" on the receiver, a base with rounded ends and the coil spring loaded sight is held in with a pin.
