RWS 45 parts?

Anyone have a recommendation on a source for RMS parts?

I have a Model45 that is missing the 'bushings' from each side of the stock for the transverse pin above the trigger.

Thanks,

Gary

Hi you could try North Silva in Canada Ontario (1-416-242-8540) and ask for Peter Kraus. They are by far the best Diana parts supplier and they have old stock most of the time which is nice. They even had a spring for my old Diana 25 which was handy. That is where I buy all of my Diana parts from.

How big do the bushings have to be? If you know what the outside diameter of the bushing and the thickness they have to be and the diameter of the hole I could always make you some on my lathe as well and then send them out to you. It's up to you.

Thanks.

RM,

Thanks for the lead, I will give them a try.

Not sure what the finished item looks like but from the inletting in the wood looks like it may be stepped and have knurling on the edge.

Thanks for the offer.

Gary

RWS parts

September 28 2008, 8:37 PM

RM-I contacted Silva North. There was quite a delay, Peter Krause and I have the same days off.
When I finally got in touch with him he confirmed he had the parts but when he found out I lived in the US he said he could not ship them to me and recommended Umarex.
(thanks Dave)
The dropped them in the mail, I installed them and the gun is shooting very well.

I just sold a Model 45 a few months before I got this one and this one is more accurate. Usually it works out the other way for me.

Thanks.

Gary
