Federal makes shotgun shells with #6 copper coated lead shot which work ok in this pistol.
It seems hard to get a tight group with this though I don't know if the problem is with the shot, the pistol or me.

I have some original ammo for this gun and it is not plated. I'm not going to shoot any of this ammo, but have shot unplated #6 shot in my pistol, and it seems to do fine!
