i have the plastic stock model and there is warpage in the wrist area and was wondering if there is a fix for that problem short of replacement, thanks in advance...al aldon42@hotmail.com
I have straightened the forearms of a couple of lever guns I have but have not tried to do a butt stock.
I used a heat gun (a good hair dryer would probably work) to heat the stock with a piece of wood and a couple of C clamps holding a little stress on the stock to pull it back straight. Be sure to heat slowly and not put to much stress on it in one spot. I used wood blocks against the forearm to keep the clamps from damaging it and you have to heat a large area to keep it from damaging it by wrinkling it.
If it is warped to bad a used one can be found on ebay from time to time.
Good Luck with the repair.

Big Al, glad to hear it worked for you.
I did not know if the instructions were clear but I guess if it worked that is all that matters.
Happy Shooting the Daisy.
