I have a Daisy Model 107 and the shot tube will not screw all the way in. It sticks out about 1/8 inch or so. It seems to shoot ok. Any ideas what would cause this and how to fix it?

I had that problem with one of my guns. I found a loose BB down the barrel next to the shot tube, that would stop the shot tube from seating all the way down. Take a flashlight and look down the barrel. you might have one down there.

Thanks for the response. I checked the gun barrel, but did not see any BB. Do think it is possible that the plunger assembly has moved? Not sure what holds it in place.
