Happy belated Birthday Stevec.
KD I think we all have been big contributors to the bull thread. I have been on since 2004. Wow that was 5 years ago. Time flies. I can't believe I'm done highschool and going to college in the fall.
Bavaria55n I've been working on the car. I will post picks one of these days. I have it running and the body all primed up. I'm just working on the lights and the headliner at the moment.
RM422, I'm glad to hear that you're continuing your education.
I'd like to hear of you driving your old car too.
Mine may finally be getting into the body shop for some much needed work.
I'll post pics, eventually. KD
It is supposed to drop into the 40's (F) at night for the next few days.
Kind of cool for here in early Sept.
Have not picked up much of anything in the way of BB guns this summer.

Im here. I'm finishing up my welding job on Thursday this week because college will interfere with it. So I have to find a job for weekends while I'm going to school. Other than work Ive been working on my Skylark and I had to fix my lathe the other day. That was a bit of a job lol. Well I'll talk to ya'll later. Thanks.
Well my college course is quite fun I have to say. I really like it. Don't think I'm going to be a Welder/Fitter forever though. I'd rather be a machinist because it's cleaner and a little more fun in my mind. Welding is still cool though and a good skill to have in any metal working trade. Other than that not much else going on. I haven't really shot my airguns very much this year. Well I guess I will talke to ya'll later. Thanks.
Having a job you enjoy sure makes life more enjoyable.
I know people who dread going to work.
Keep those grades up so you have a better chance of choosing what you do and where you work.
My dad was a machinist.
You will be able to make your own gun parts.
The days sure are getting short and cold weather is not far off.

What are all you guys up to? I'm really likeing college. The Welding/Fitter course is a lot of fun. I had my doubts going in there but my mind has been totally changed. Overall college is way better then highschool thats for sure. I haven't had much time for shooting lately. Except I am slowly working on an old Telly air rifle. It's on rough shape. I need to machine a few parts on my lathe for it. I also need to refinish the stock. It basicly needs a whole makeover. Well I'll talk with all you guys later. Thanks.
Keep us up to date on it and post some pictures when you can.
It is great you can make your own parts!

Hey Bavaria55n it has a rifled barrel and it is a .177 break barrel. They were made in Hungary from the 50s-70s. I don't think they were a gallery gun. But they are very powerful when in good working order. There were some .22 cal models made but the .177 cal versions were most popular. They show up all the time at gunshows. The Telly air rifles are not worth much because a lot of people aren't aware of what they are. Probably one of the most powerful air rifles for their time. There were only a few different models made. Some had the name Telly on the reciever and some had no markings at all except Made In Hungary on the breech block. The really good models had a medallion on the side of the stock having the Telly name engraved in the medallion. That is the model I have except the medallion is missing but I can see the imprint of where it used to be on the stock. Well I'll talk to ya'll later. Thanks.
I have never had one but they look like they would be a handy rifle. Not to heavy to carry around all day and not to hard to cock but plenty powerful for most shooting.
One thing indisputeable about education; once you acquire it no one can ever take it away from you; and if you do not acquire an education you will never know what you are missing.
