Halloween pix, anybody?

 

DS went as Pikachu. This is a size large costume and it was difficult to find. Most stores didn't offer it, so we bought it on Ebay. DS was surprised that the mask was so flat. It bothered his nose b/c it wasn't molded at all for the face, and the plastic also was quite thick, compared to most Halloween masks. But he had a good time and everyone admired his costume. He says he wants to be something scary next year (sigh). Lots of milestones. We didn't go trick-or-treating at the zoo this year, and I recognize this as one more childhood tradition being left behind (sniff).

BTW, regarding our math saga -- ds is being allowed to move down to the teacher who likes him. He made this decision himself last week when he feared he would lose art club again. We have an intervention meeting scheduled in 2 weeks to discuss possible delays and how to accomodate them. I will also push for testing and an IEP.
