Thanks for thinking of me!!

It was not good news, my mom does have lung cancer, invasive as well. She had a PET scan done today and we have a meeting scheduled tomorrow to review all the results. He already said she isn't a candidate for surgery but sounds like even if she was health wise, the cancer is too aggressive anyhow. They want to do radiation just to shrink the area because it may occlude the airway in a short while. She has had blood in her stool so I am not feeling particularly optimistic about tomorrow's meeting and pray I can keep myself poised. She is in decent spirits considering and really enjoying hanging out with her in the hospital, as sad as that sounds. Thanks for asking, sure appreciate it.
