They were the bunnies with floppy ears, kind of middle sized. If you get a bunny as a baby, btw, there is only a 50/50 chance they can tell the gender. Not a huge deal if you only want one bunny, but we thought we had a male and a female and then all of a sudden one day puberty hit, their testicles dropped, and they tried to kill each other. Seriously. It was terrifying! One (the one we had named Anabelle!) had to go to the vet. Anyway, we were home a lot as I was in grad school and my ex DH worked at home. He had also built them a big bunny "warren" outside, but we always had them inside at night to avoid predators. I've known a few families with outdoor bunnies who have been killed by raccoons. Just horrible.
