Response to Good question

One of the questions for us is whether to remove ds for testing. Problem is that he has to be removed for all testing if this is in his IEP, and it's just the big bubble-in tests that get reported for state and national purposes that freak him out. At our last IEP meeting, we agreed that he needs to be removed for that test, but not the others, so instead of writing it into the IEP, we have an agreement that he will be removed for that one test. Middle school could be different. But he typically scores high, and if the middle school wants his good score, they're going to have to give us what we want.

I'll definitely look into that seat. He doesn't wander, though -- he stays put for the most part, and just does these stimming things in place.
