We just bought DS a Maxi Kick scooter, and now are thinking about what protective gear he should wear. My son is very tall and lanky and as a result not very coordinated, so I am concerned about falls as he gets used to it. It is one of those scooters with 2 wheels in the front and one in back.
We already got a helmet, but when looking at Razor products, all they seem to sell is knee and elbow sets. No wrist guards?
Is there a brand of pads that your child finds comfortable? My son is the size of a 7 year old. Prices on Amazon seem to vary widely, from $13 for a set on up. I would like to find something that is comfortable and will offer the level of protection a kid riding a scooter on a sidewalk would need. This kid is not Evil Knievel (though his little brother is, so I do need to think of him too!!)
I cant find an answer anywhere online, so I thought Id ask the wisest group of women I know:)
