I'm going to try an elimination diet this fall for 6 weeks. I guess since it won't be strawberry season, we'll just be eliminating strawberry jam. Definitely tomatoes, which is sad, since I rely heavily on grape tomatoes for his lunch veggie. If we see a big difference in behavior, I might see how he does if we add them back on weekends, or I might discuss it with him and see if he can try to become aware of how he feels after eating these foods and begin to try to control himself. He seems young and immature for that, but when I became aware of my hypoglycemia, I was able to take better care of myself.
Wish there was an antidote for these foods!
