I know what's out there. That's how I spent the first part of the week thanks to how it was handled by the ENT. However, both my internist & (most importantly) the clinic at S.tan.for.d have assured me it's localized & benign. The clinic said my chance of having the horrible version is almost mil.
But yeah, I spent Monday googling & it was ugly.
Of course, I still have to get the underlying rule-outs done & have surgery, but at least I can breathe a little easier that I don't have the fatal variety. (I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still concerned, but the landscape dramatically changed after the call to St.an.for.d.)
