Hi everyone...I will post more about wonderful kiddos later but for now I need some advise on getting a hysterectomy.
My GYN has been pushing for one because of the chronic back/pelvic pain. This cycle has been horrid--two weeks of cramps, spotting, and now the awful AF herself (she is such a bi***.) The worse part has been a new problem of nausea and vomiting. It started two weeks ago when the cramping started. And no...I am not pregnant.
Anyway, he would leave my ovary (which may, I know, lead to more endo symptoms) but mostly he suspects it is in my uterine wall. Given my two c-sections this is possible. Also, my paps are painful in one certain area in my uterus.
Anyway, we are having no more kids. I have the usual sadness, baby blues, but I honestly don't want anymore. Besides, DH had a snip.
I am scared of a hysto, though. Anyone had one? THoughts? I am more scared, though, of feeling this way for the next ten years. AF is very regular so I doubt menopause is on the way, despite my once doomed FSH!
