And congratulations! How has it been? Have you been able to get lots of help and support? I bet you got yourself organized pretty darn quick. I hope you've been able to enjoy this precious first year! I remember how sleep-starved I was with just my one.

They will be 1 on 3/6/12. In the beginning, we had a night nanny who helped from 10:30pm - 6:30am. MY DH is a rock!! My parents and DH parents have helped tremendously. Starting in November, I put them in daycare 2 days a week. I had pretty severe PPD so I had to take care of myself first and get help. I will fully admit I am NOT a little baby person. I am starting to love this stage because they play with each other and interact so much more with me. They have such different personalities. I could even see that when they were born at 33w5d.
We see that here pretty regularly, IMO. I'm sure I had at least a mild case. I'm glad you were able to get support from dh and daycare. It took me a very long time to find daycare and to accept that I needed it. I did use babysitters, but I even felt guilty about that.
I remember when ds was tiny, he slept so much that I used to try to read the newspaper. He hated the sound of the paper and would protest. Good grief, what a high-maintenance kid!

DS: born by c-sec Apr15'03, 9lbs5oz 41wks gest. (after 4 years of ttc, starting in 1998)
DD born by c-sec Oct 13 2007, 8lbs13oz 39wk gest. (after just under 3 years of ttc)
~~DS was conceived naturally the cycle following a cancelled DE IVF, using my good friend's eggs. She was on the verge of hyperstimming.
~~DD's nat conception I attribute to using OPKs like a crazy nut, eating grapefruit daily and using preseed. also 5 cycles of TCM ending 2 cycles before that lucky cycle.

And congratulations on your miracle trio!! I have a singleton DD, now 9...it is unbelievable how quickly they grow. It sounds so trite, but it really is the truth. I miss those early days so much sometimes, but it is a such a joy to witness the growth and development over the years -- it truly does get better and better (wonder if I'll say the same once DD hits the teenage years, LOL).
Welcome, and congratulations on your threesome! It's great to see you.
I'm mom to an almost 5 year old boy conceived on one of many IVFs, and stepmom to two wonderful adults, one herself recently married (and now am cautiously hopeful about grandkids !).
Wow, triplets! Eleven months is such a fun age, too. I hope you get time, once in a while, to sit back and just watch them in all their cuteness once in a while.
