Shawn & Belle: Fanfics and Chatter Disclaimer

We greatly appreciate your help by adhering to these guidelines and avoiding any posts that fall under these categories.THANKS!!
1. Support of Shawn or Belle with anyone but each other in a romantic sense, or Anti-Shelle/Shawn/Belle Posts
There's a reason this board is called "Shawn & Belle: Fanfics and Chatter"...we love Shelle...together!! :o). If you don't like the characters of Shawn or Belle, or them together as a couple, this is NOT the place for you. There are plenty of generic Days' sites (many are on our Links Page) that have posters who support these other "couples" or who might agree with your dislike of Shawn or Belle or Shelle.
2. Discussions of the Actors' Personal Lives/Appearance
This board is designed to be a haven for people who love the fictional characters of Shawn and Belle, and the two of them together as a couple. While we also might love Jason Cook and Kirsten Storms (or any of the other actors on the show for that matter) for bringing the characters we love to "life" each day, their personal lives in any detailed discussion is off limits. It's fine to mention that so-and-so is dating, but please don't speculate on their relationship or comment on their compatibility. They are human too, and do not deserve to have us speculating about their personal lives...at least, not on a public board.
3. Claims that "I Know [one of the actors]" or "Here is So-and-So's number"
The Internet is an odd beast...a world of mainly anonymous people who can claim anything they want about themselves and who can talk a good game. There are A LOT of crazy/rude people out there who have nothing better to do than to make up stories and try to con you into believing them.
Don't.
We will try to delete any such posts as soon as we can. If for some reason you come across one before we can get to it, we warn you to respond to these people at your own risk. We've had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with "con artists," and all of them eventually get caught in their lies. Our advice: Save yourself a lot of frustration and don't give them the time of day. It's just not worth it.
4. Directly Attacking Another Poster
We try to keep the "haven" a peaceful community. If a post appears that you do not like/agree with or find offensive, please try to avoid responding with a snide remark. We ask that you, instead, email CeeJay about it. We will do our best to address the issue promptly.
5. Rated X Fanfics
What is Rated X? Description of sexual acts using vulgar language or dialogue or extreme violence. While we in no way wish to censor your creative souls, there are some things we feel like are over the top for a board where half the population are minors.
A Word About Our Chatroom
If any chatter in our chatroom is not following these guidelines, we ask that you do not urge them on by arguing or testing him/her. Simply leave the room. These people are only looking for attention. Thank you for your help!!
