Natural evaporation of waste water seems to be an undiscovered
solution for the industry. The most cost effective way to get rid
of waste water contaminated with salt and/or metals is give it to
the wind. That we never think of it as an option is because we
don't fully understand the mechanisms leading to effective
evaporation. If we think on solar ponds where salt is produced
with the help of the sun in combination with the wind we think
that the sun is an important factor compared to the wind. In fact
the sun is meaningless compared to the effectiveness of the wind
in the process. On our website we explain why we think that
historical mistakes are made (salt area). Evaporation is about
surface, make it as big as possible and it is about surface
tension, reduce it and water will disappear as snow in the sun.
No chemicals no tricks, cheap and effective but above all, no
energy apart from the very high wind energy. The system will NOT
work for obvious reasons in area with lots of rain and in areas
with low or no wind. So there is nolonger reason to drop your wastewater in the environment ! for pictures and details see
