One question to all the democrats, liberals and environmentalists out there in the United States:

Why would it be considered so flamingly hysterical (or to put it this way, BAD) to simply drill a few small holes and set up some equipment to extract our own oil in the ground of the U.S? (particularily speaking of the dry desert wasteland areas that are indeed useless for anything else, are a very rich source of oil, and would help out the economy in these rough times...so what’s the problem?) It would save massive ammounts of trouble fighting and starting wars with other countries, simply asking for their own oil.

A question or two coming from a "democrat" who simply cannot understand why we need to pay a visit to other countries in order to aquire their oil when we ourselves have a rich supply that we could very well be using right now.
