Hi, my name is Conor Corderoy. I am a novelist, writer of eco-thrillers, and I am embarking on a project. I want to tell you about it, and I want your feedback and, if possible, your support.
The project is the Arkindra Project. In it I plan to sail around the world solo, twice, visiting all of those places that are already being affected by climate change, meeting the people whose environments have already changed or even collapsed. I will collect these people's stories into a book, The Ark Indra Adventure, and a TV documentary, to try to bring home the message that climate change is not something that is going to happen in a hundred years. It is something that is already happening.
The project is in its early stages, but already Professor James Lovelock (creator of Gaia theory, advisor to NASA on the Mars project &C) has endorsed this project, we have interest from some publishers, and we have our first sponsor. Please visit the dedicated site on
