Why vote in the middle?

I propose to you all a question, why is it, that people seem to only vote for central or right wing parties in the West?

So often I hear from people if I ask them who they vote for or if they would vote for the CPGB,that they wouldn't vote for any party other than the main 3 (liberals, labour and conservative).

The real question is why bother voting for a party that is more concerned about being re-elected and reputation than helping it's people and people of other countries aswell?

It seems that people are under the pretense that if they don't vote for a "popular" party then a disliked party will "get in the back-door". This is quite clearly a foolish mistake, one should always vote for the party that most represents their views and if no party does, then invent your own (or just don't vote).

These points are what make democracy fail. Ignorance of thepeople as to the views of parties which aren't large because they don't have as much coverage if any. Parties being more concerned about staying in power than actually getting anything done. Also people believing what the media tells them and the idea of prevention of a particular party rather than actually choosing the party that best suits you.
