Feelings, emotions, thoughts; are all transmited through your brain through neuro transmitters and recievers. For example, if your body feels pleasure the dopamine transmitter (dopamine is the neural trasmitter that stimulates pleasure) in the bran sends dopamine to the dopamine reciever where it is absorbed. You feel pleasure.
Now, in an afterlife you have no neural transmitters, reicevers, or even a brain. So what is the point of heaven if you cannot enjoy it?
There is also the problem of you being dead. When you are dead you are dead. You cannot use your senses or control your body because your brain does not fuction anymore. Your brain does not fuction anymore because you are dead. That is the definition of being dead. How can you be alive at the same time you are dead?
You should go ask a dead person if there is an afterlife- I wonder what he would say?
The light of god offers only blindness to those who look into it.
