My beef with FreeRepublic

I have real problems with the censorship of FreeRepublic.

I recently posted what Rush Limbaugh said about the Iraqi prisoner abuses and posted a link to the audio. This audio was on PrisonPlanet.tv, which is dedicated to New Order Stuff. After a few seconds, my thread was pulled my the moderators because: "Prisonplanet not welcome here." That's just where the audio was. There was no commentary about it. It was Rush's own words.

I am conservative, but I find the conservatives on FreeRepublic some of the most closed-minded people, hearing only what they want to hear.

If anyone's interested, Rush said that the troops were just having a good time, that this same stuff goes on in fraternities, and that this was just an emotional release of the troops because they get shot at all the time.
Hear him say it himself: http://prisonplanet.tv/articles/may2004/050604limbaughontorturing.htm

The so-called "conservatives" at FreeRepublic

My friend, the so-called "conservatives" at FreeRepublic are phony conservatives...just like how the Democratic Party is chock full of phony liberals. The neocons and the neolibs are using this phony left/right paradigm to distract American citizens from the REAL issues.

Darth is right. Free Republic is just the flip-side of the Dim-ocratic Underground. Both sites engage in group think, and both sites will ban you if you dare to disagree with them. Free Speech has no more value to a phony Republican, than it does a phony Dim-ocrat, Jim Rob is the biggest phony of them all!!!

I've looked at various posts on this forum, and every shade of political opinion seems to be tolerated. We need more places like this so guys like us can get our message out.
