This is not a knock on anyone currenty serving or who have honorably served our country. And I mean serving in the Armed forces not mashed patatoes at the local Luby's.

But if GW is out touting what an honor it is for one to serve in our Military at a time your country needs you - why doesn't he sign up his unemployed goodtime twins???? Unless he figures: 1. The twins like himself were too good for the military at a time when their country needs them. 2. He is too much a coward not like he was 25 years ago to make the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

He had the same opportunity over 35 years ago, and he had daddy pulls some strings to have him serve in the Elite (but dangerous) National Guard.

I find it just plain flabbergasting that someone just don't get it....
When I hear someone say something like your post it just plain sticks in my throat. I guess you Sir never served. One that has would not ever say such a thing. You have the right to say such a thing because people that have served, fought and died so that you could. Maybe you just don't appreciate that fact..........I will say it again...People have faught and died to give you the right to say anything you want....Even things that are not well thought out like your own statement. Duty, Honor, Country...These are things that you don't have a clue what they really mean. If one has to explain it to you I guess it's all a wasted effort.
Todays Democrates are like spoiled brats...I have never agreed with the Democratic Party......But I did respect them......Not anymore

America wouldn't be here without her heroes.

Many of those heroes were martyred by TREASON from within the gubermint.

We left POWs behind in Communist Nam.

They were fed into the Communist Gulag system. They experiment on their own people, who knows what they'd do to a Capitalist.

Serving in a country's military is as honorable as the Cause you are (really, truly, in reality) serving, which is in turn dictated by the Agenda of your ruler.

So, let's say, hypothetically, your ruler is really just trying to gut your country's treasury, and bleed your country white for the sake of International Communism. And let's say, he won't let you attack "alpha list" targets, and stuff like that. And he won't let you do obvious things, like allow your snipers to use the right ammunition. And he basically undermines the war effort to keep you there as long as possible, and hopefully even get wounded, cause the more the war costs... the more his family's connections into your Military Industrial Complex get paid by the Taxpayers. Your ruler is a total mole for International Communism, and he laughs at you as you bleed and die.

If you fight for that, would that, hypothetically of course, be honorable?
