I was disgusted as Rebel Mascot at Ole Miss was removed this past week.If we as Southern people with a proud history of defending our rights and heritage for centeries do not take action,our heritage will disappear. Our childeren will never know the truth about their history,culture and heritage.
The flag that flown for 140 years is dissappearing from the face of the earth.It now can not be flown over the dead of some Confederate graves,it can not be presented at our schools and work places,in fear that it might ofend someone.When the American flag(which slaves were held under also)can be flown any where.
It was our legal right to secede from the Union.And just like England in the 1700`s when America was trying to become a new nation,the Union would not stand for it.And just like King George,Lincoln wanted war not because of slavery.
I urge each Southern man to protect the past and keep our heritage from dieing.Join a Confederate group such as the Sons of Confederate Veterans,The Confederate Rose,and ect.You will find out that it`s not about hate it`s about heritage,and how its quickly being taken away,turned into hate,and makeing our grandfathers look like Hitler to our childern.It was about a country called the Confederate States of America.
