“WHAT LUCK FOR THE RULERS THAT MEN DO NOT THINK”
Adolf Hitler (1889-1945)
A recent poll reported on MSNBC television stated that the country is once again frozen in a virtual deadlock concerning George W. Bush and his continued presidency. The swing vote this time around is said to be even smaller than in 2000, a mere 18% will determine the outcome, and that would include 5 to 6% already committed to Ralph Nader.
In an attempt to reach that undecided percentage, I created this website.
http://thealligatorsalley.com/indecision2004/index.htm The site explores the satirical tongue-in-cheek lyrics of my new song, "Indecision 2004", which centers on G.W. Bush. The tune’s verses (sung to the melody of the jazz classic “Mack The Knife”) are steeped in metaphors but pull no punches as they track Bush through his early 1970’s associations with the Bin Laden family, the 2000 election, his administrations' involvement in the Enron collapse debacle, Iraqs weapons of mass destruction, lawsuits surrounding Cheney’s energy task force policy, questions the Nine-Eleven Commission have raised and even PNAC (Project for a New American Century) A majority of this information is unknown to many Americans and transcends party affiliations and issues. The website is long on verified facts, (backed up by mainstream media links) while being short on name calling and rhetoric, which in my opinion is the best way to convince a potential Bush supporter or fence sitter into the Kerry camp.
In keeping with the recent critical WMD report from the Senate Intelligence Committee, there is also a link to my previous video “White House Sonata”
http://thealligatorsalley.com/sonata/sonata.htmwhich features a unique musical perspective on Iraq’s illusive weapons of mass destruction, and how the Bush administration sold the American public on the War in Iraq. Take some time and read up on what is happening in America and be a part the struggle of who will lead it into the 21st century.
