My brothaz 'n' sistaz in Christ Jesus...For the past two years I have been networking with local Gospel Rappers all over the USA...I have asked them to send me cds, tapes, video footage, concert footage,and just a video of them Preach'n', So the Word of Jesus Christ will be shown for my viewers to see...Through the phone calls I have made, I have Felt the Zeal For Jesus these Brothaz and Sistaz have...Even though I have a speech impediment (stuttering, The Lord has helped me through those phone calls even though some kats aren't use to it and don't have enough patience...(I Forgive ya Kats) My focus is to get the message across and hope they understand my vision...I have Faith fa sho...I have recently met with a pastor who wants to help me with this vision...The show will take time, patience and cheeze...I have decided to go to film school to perfect my filming abilities and learn more about the film business...I want to Make Christian Music Videos especially Gospel rap Videos...I hope to have the show running within two years...By any chance if God has other plans for me, I will find another kat with the same vision and give him/her all the promotional items and product local gospel rappers have given me to spread the good news and to give them exposure...I recently went to TBN to have them look at the Elohim Gospel Rap Documentary which is Gospel Rap Classic...I wanted to show them that to reach our youth we need shows that will really catch their attention... It was unsuccessful because even though they wouldn't even see me, I was told to drop off the video with the secretary and she told me that a rep would call me... I went there in person twice and called so many times and no one returned my phone calls and not even the fax I sent...They lost the video and that was one of my Tools for the show...I learned now to always make coppies...It had so much valuable info about the Word of Jesus and the Gospel Hiphop movement...Suddenly on Easter Sunday a special about Gospel Rappers and their testimonies came on from Creflo Dollar Ministries...Yo, I felt Frankie Cutless's testimony so much, I could feel tha power of the holy spirit through his words...Its shows like this that I need to collect to play on the show...Only problem is having permission to use the video footage because of law suits...I understand the reasons but we need to share out materials to spread the word of Jesus ...but this is a business and their are rules.... I have alot of ideas but right now
What advise can you give a kat who wants to start a video show?
What do you want to See in the video show and have you seen any other Gospel rap Video Shows?
I am experiemnting right now with Urban Movies: For example I took scenes from the movie choices (Three 6 Mafia) Muted the words and put Gospel Rap songs that tied with the scenes...The idea is Tite and so fa people that have scene what I have done really like it:)
What Gospel Rap song would you put over a Movie Clip that would catch the viewers attention???
before I moved to Miami I helped this one kat in Michigan who has a gospel rap show...He kept on playing the same videos because he told me not enough kats were sending him videos so I helped him by sharing my materials I have collected throughout the years...His show has become known and popular:).... I thank God that I could help a Brotha 'n' Christ...
