I know that this belongs in the poetry board but when i read this i wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to also read this. From the book,"A Purpose Driven Life".


You are who you are for a reason

You're part of an intricate plan

You're a precious and perfect unique design

Called Gods special woman or man

You look like you look for a reason

Our God made no mistake

He knit you together within the womb

You're just what he wanted to make

The parents you have were the ones he chose and no matter how you may feel

They were custom designed with Gods plan in mind

And they bear the masters seal

No, that trauma you face is not easy

And God weeps that it hurts you so

But it is allowed to shape your heart

So that into his likeness you will grow

You are who you are for a reason

You've been transformed by the masters rod

You are who you are beloved

Because there is a GOD!!

I already know god made me the way i am for a reason this poem is for everyone who is having trouble with there idenity. Im with Amanda on this one this is so real and true
