Hey everyone. I just wanted to share with everyone just how much you guys are looked up to as a youth ministry and the affect that you have on other churches.

Yesterday, the last day of another five-day youth camp, I had two girls step to me and ask me if I still went to Wonation. I said Yes. One girl said that " I am going to be moving to Houston to Go to U of H and I was wanting to know how to get there." I said " How do you know about Wonation" She said " I remember you guys from last year." Then her and her friend began to grow frantic stating that they were mad because they missed you guys this year by a week. I gave her the number to the Church, the youth center, and the website. I saw on these girls face the affect that you guys have on other youth groups.

Every one of you are a leader and you have no idea how many people are watching you. Did you know that the most insignificant person will affect at least a thousand people over his of her lifetime. Did you guys know that over the week you guys were here, you corporately affected over a thousand lives, not to mention each others.

1Tim. 4:12 ( paraphrased) " Let no man despise their youth, but let them be an example UNTO THE BELIEVER in word, truth, holiness, and purity. "

YOUNG PEOPLE OF WONATION: YOU ARE NOT ONLY CALLED TO BE AN EXAMPLE TO THE SINNER, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY TO EACHOTHER AND TO THOSE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

Anyway guys, I just really want you guys to understand the impact you have on not just your community, but on Houston, Texas, Lousianna, and every other state that was represented while you were at camp. I am coming home soon, very soon, and I am very excited to be able to see everyone on a consistant basis and I am looking forward to working with the Leadership team at WONATION.

Lance thank you so much for that word it is unbelievable to me the impact this ministry HAS had on many others it has been my prayer that we would be a model and/or an inspiration to other ministries i know that God has allowed us to do that however i do know that this is a position that can not be taken for granted or abused which is why we have to continue to improve ourselves individually and corporately from leadeship to the first time visitor. Already we have had 2 visitors who were at camp and had recently moved to Houston visit us twice once on Sunday and once on Friday. God is continuing to do a great thing @ Wonation Youth Ministries and the thing that really excites me the most is that we are truly JUST getting started. When you look @ our staff made up of people like Veronica, Brian, Chase, Lance, Omar, Jessica, Angela, Richard, Katrina, myself, and many others and not to mention our incredible Pastors Steve & Cyndi Austin.........people who are in love with fulfilling Gods will and accomplishing the vision for ccc well all i can say is "GET READY 'CUZ WE AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!!!"

LUV 'YA

Understanding your role

Man it is important Wonation, that you understand your role as the example. More people are watching you and following your example more than what you think.

I see WONATION like ONE-EIGHTY'S around the country. Wonation Youth ministries popping up everywhere, not just in churches but in comminities all over. The vision of Wonation is so much bigger than Victor or Pastor Steve. That is why he has not only assembled a strong staff, but a strong Body. I want every person in WONATION to understand that you play a part in the youth Group, but it is totally up to you to take your place.

Each of you can contribute a talent, a gift, a minute of yourself daily or even weekly to better the Youth Group. You must understand that you are needed; not by WONATION or CCC, but by God. Gods plan goes far beyond CCC or WONATION. It stretches across the world.
