For all the strong people of WONATION, please read this and pay close attention:
About 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine got into a serious motorcycle accident. We found out immediately that she was in a coma and that she had several blood clots in the brain. Well, after an operation about a day ago the doctors had removed all the blood clots and were waiting on the swelling to go down before giving her antibiotics. As upsetting as it was, her swelling didnt go down and last night around 10:00pm, her heart stopped beating and she was then prenounced dead.
This young lady was only 18 years old and a freshman in college. She has been through many things in her lifetime but still she stuggled as all teenages do. I've known her since the 4th grade and I grew up beside her for around 9 years. Although we werent the closest of friends, we were still peers. Her name was Jessica Chau and she will be forever remembered, as her spirit lives on within those who were graced by her presence.
I just extend this request to all the people of wonation, asking for ya'll to pray for her family and her friends. This tragedy has open my eyes as well as the eyes of others around me. I have come to realize that our days are getting shorter and that anytime could be my last time. Being away from my normal world has been a challenge in more ways than one yet I have to be strong enough to live everyday with God. Honestly, its been hard but I am glad to say that I have continued to be strong and pray and God has continued to bless me.
But just keep praying for Jessica's family for they will need every prayer that you will lift up. I know ya'll will help boost their faith just by whispering a few words to God with her name in it. I love and miss all of ya'll and I'll be home soon..... Thank ya'll for reading this!

we will keep her family in our hearts and prayers, it's so sad anytime we hear of a young person whose life was suddenly cut short but you're right it does put everything in perspective for those of us who remain. keep Eph. 5:15-17 close to your heart we can not let our guard down.
keep your head up!! |

I lived in jessica's neighborhood and we went to school together @ westfield. We used to go to Starbucks all the time and get those frappucinos!! NE ways, I just found out about the accident this past weekend when I went home. I was so upset. Well, I wish you the best and will be praying for her family daily. Good luck! | |
