Hi Boris, I have been viewing your site for a few months now and would like to become a member. My wife (a Brasilian) and I will be visiting Brasil last week of March searching for a second home. I would like to read your book before leaving -- the problem: under your new policy, we can only gain access after 30 days. Could we get immediate access if we agree that our subscription is not cancelable? We would happily do this to get the info that we will need when we go in March. Thakn you for your interest in the Lifestyles Brazil and the Pocket Guide. Unfortunatly, we had to discontinue the Pocket Guide for a couple of reasons. Mainly, software problems (Exebook) and the fact that much of the information in it has become outdated.
Instead, the memebrs have access to 300+ articles dealing with Brazilian real estate and practical aspects of settling down here, Lifestyles Brazil Digest - the first English-language magazine in Brazil about Brazil (which incidentally picked up much of the information contained in the Pocket Guide) and the Pocket DIctionary of the Brazilian Portuguese Real Estate and Legal Terminology.
That is not counting personalized advice and support via E-mail and Memers Board.
