how official does the birth certificate need to be?

hi boris, i understand to get an investment visa i need to translate my birth cert. from english to portuguese. does it need to be on special paper, with a seal or certifed. the more official the more expensive, i want to get what the brasilians the first time.
do you sell your book in regular book form or just internet?

This is the first time that I hear about the need for a translated birth certificate in order to apply for an investment visa. Where did you get this requirement.
My books are sold in bookstores in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo aside from the internet. All of them, aside from the Pocket Guide to Buying Real Estate in Brazil, have been printed.

Hi Dave, banks in Brazil do not open bank accounts for non-residents. However, if you open a corporation in Brazil, you can get a corporate bank account quite easy.
