Kang Guru Radio English is an AusAID-funded English language project based at IALF, Bali. The position is for two years, beginning in early 2005.
This new position will focus on writing a weekly EL radio program, producing materials for classroom use and conducting teacher workshops across Indonesia.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
• Qualifications and experience in EFL
• Background in writing and presenting for radio
• Experience in writing and producing materials for EL learning
• Experience in presenting teacher development workshops
• Experience in working in a cross-cultural context
• Computer skills
• Familiarity with Australian lifestyle and culture
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team of people from a range of cultural backgrounds
Desirable Skills:
•Experience working in Indonesia and some knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia
•Knowledge of development issues in S.E. Asia
