City of College London, Istanbul, Turkey seeks English teachers

City of London College is one of the world's leading education providers with centres worldwide. In Istanbul, it is engaged in designing and delivering English Language Programmes to companies and individuals.

Qualifications:
1. Degree in any discipline with TEFL/TESOL Certificate or Equivalent
2. Experienced or recently qualified teachers
3. Proactive and open-minded, with flexible and cheerful personality
4. Ready and willing to enjoy Turkish Culture
5. Good health

Contract Term:
9 Months minimum contract (up to 12 months possible). Paid holidays available if the contract is renewed

Hours of Delivery:
25 - 26 lessons per week, each lesson being of 50 minutes duration. Plus lesson planning, marking assessments and guidance

Salary for Teachers: (Subject to qualifications and experience)
US Dollars 800 - 1000 per month
Extra 5% to holders of PGCE or Masters in Education
After completion of the first 6 months and appraisal, salary is increased on a scale

Benefits:
1. Free accommodation for one month on arrival. After that teachers find their accommodation or continue to stay at the accommodation provided by the school paying USD75 per month.
2. USD300 in total is paid per contract towards the cost of a round air trip. This is paid in 3 equal instalments within the last 3 months of the contract
3. 2 weeks paid holiday if the contract is renewed for another year
4. Orientation and teacher development sessions
5. Good teaching facilities and support
6. Free internet connection at the schools
7. USD50 towards visa expenses (per visa renewal). Work permits assisted
8. National holidays
