EFL instructor opportunity with AMIDEAST, Aden, Yemen

Aden, Yemen has EFL instructor opportunity in growing EL Center operated by AMIDEAST, a reputable US based non-profit with over 50 years experience in the ME and 25 years in Yemen. AMIDEAST Aden staff will be at TESOL 2005 booth #550 in San Antonio,TX March 28-April 02.

Native speakers from North America with TEFL certification and classroom teaching experience are preferred. For international hires, visa processing, airfare, single housing, and regional health insurance may be provided based on contract. A staff of 15 teachers work with over 370 students onsite and in two company locations.

Consistent in-class observations provide feedback for improved instruction. Student and staff expectations are high with networked computers and visual equipment in all classrooms. CALL for students is available.

Location is in the developing world with many students aspirations for future success tied to their English language achievement. Students are motivated and expect teachers to be well prepared. In this city of 900,000 the western community is small but the population is friendly. Despite a warm climate there are opporunities to enjoy recreational activities at the beach and other locations.
