ESL openings to teach Kuwait military personnel

Qualitas Consulting and Training is delighted to be able to serve the Kuwait community by providing English Language Training and seeks fully qualified and experienced teachers to work with private students as well as governmental and military personnel.

In our military projects, students in the beginning levels use materials from the Defense Language Institute English Language Center at Lackland AFB, TX, USA. More information on the materials can be obtained at www.dlielc.org. Most of the material for the advanced students is written by the teachers themselves.

The work week in Kuwait is Saturday through Wednesday. Although exact daily schedules vary from site to site, in general, instruction is offered 5 days per week from 7:30am until 1:30pm. Teachers are liable for and may be called on for additional instruction on Thursdays.

1. English Instructor, Native Speaker Openings : 12

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in English
2. Any recognized Certificate of English Language Training to Adults or additional ESL certification
3. Four (4) years practical experience in teaching English to non-native speakers
4. Good physical condition

Applicants whose BA is other than in English may apply if they have a Master’s degree in English, TOEFL, Linguistics, or related field.
