Director, English Language Center
The position requires an MA in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field as well as teaching and administrative experience, preferably overseas. The Director should also have strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills. Duties include teaching six credit hours per semester; recruitment, supervision, and development of faculty and staff; curriculum design and development; assessment and placement of students; scheduling of classes; supervising extra-curricular activities; maintenance and supervision of a Resource Library, Media Center, and three language labs; budgeting; and management of special programs.
For non-residents of the Palestinian Territories, the offer includes faculty housing, one round-trip airline ticket per academic year, and tax-exempt status.
