Senior English Language Fellow needed in Damascus, Syria

The English Language Fellow Program is currently seeking a Senior English Language Fellow to serve in Damascus, Syria. The Senior English Language Fellow will work with The Ministry of Higher Education, at the ESP Center of the University of Damascus. These centers provide the English skills that enable students to succeed in their studies in many fields that require the use of materials in English, including the Internet. The Fellows will develop the curriculum/teaching materials primarily at the ESP Center of the University of Damascus, and also at the ESP centers at Aleppo, Tishreen and Baath universities.

This exciting position with the prestigious, U.S. State Department sponsored, English Language Fellow Program includes a generous stipend and living allowance as well as an educational materials allowance, an in-country program activities allowance, a shipping allowance, a pre-departure expense allowance, eligible for a dependent allowance, round trip transportation, and sickness and accident insurance.
