University Preparation Program Teacher Required

The King Faisal School University Preparation Program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires a teacher qualified in Education, English, Math or Science (or indeed any mixture of above) and this position must be filled immediately. The King Faisal School University Preparation Program was created in collaboration with a leading US university and conforms to the highest international standards; it expects it's teachers to do likewise.

Essential Qualifications:

Must be male
Must be a native speaker of English
Must have teaching experience
Must hold a degree in Education / English / Math / A Science*

*other degrees with appropriate experience may be acceptable
Must be able to start work late August / early September
Must be physically fit to teach

Desired Qualifications:

Has 5 years teaching experience
Has a recognised teaching qualification (CELTA, PGCE, B.Ed etc.)
Has a Master's Degree level qualification
Has experience in the Middle east
Has cultural sensitivity
Well-versed in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Available immediately

Pay and Conditions:

1) 32,000USD / per academic year (renewable) Tax-free

Annual bonus 1,300USD

Pay is in Saudi Riyals (pegged to the dollar)
2) Free furnished, spacious apartment
3) 17 hours teaching per week (20 periods)
4) Teachers are required to keep office hours (6.30am - 4.30pm) with generous allocated time for use of the school's sporting and fitness facilities. The school also provides breakfast and lunch for staff.
5) Teaching is Saturday - Wednesday as per the Islamic working week
6) Medical Insurance is provided by the school
7) Transport or a transport allowance is provided
8) The school will provide a laptop pc for the teacher's use
9) 45 days holiday / yearly, plus national holidays and descretionary holidays which can add up to 3 months total vacation time per year
