The British Council Tunis is recruiting one EFL Teacher to work from the beginning of February.
The teaching centre was purpose built in summer 2005 and is an extremely good environment for teaching and learning, with the most technically advanced educational facilities available. Every classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, some also have wireless laptops and video conferencing facilities.
You will teach regular public courses for adults and young learners. We also offer courses in business skills, exam preparation, teacher training and conversation.

Preferred qualifications:
- Degree-holder
- CELTA
- Trinity TESOL Certificate
- Native English speaker/s only
- Teaching experience: 2 years minimum
- Basic IT skills
Compensation:
Salary is paid in Tunisian Dinars in a range from 21540 to 27600 per year depending on your qualifications and experience. Current exchange rate is TD 1000 = 418.41 GBP (December 2005)
Economy class air fares are provided for you and your family from the UK to Tunis. On sucessful completion of your employment with the British Council in Tunis, flights either directly to the country of your next posting with the British Council or back to the UK. Generous baggage allowance.
35 days annual leave per year, and local public holidays.
Medical insurance & settling-in allowance (two weeks salary).
