SENIOR TRAINER
from September 2006

Requirements: M.A. in Applied Linguistics, TEFL, TESOL, or related field, + at least 5 years' post-M.A. experience.

The IBS is a semi-governmental institution, training Kuwait's bank employees to a high standard. The ELU offers programmes in general professional English, banking English and English business communication skills.

This is an opportunity for an adaptable ESP/ ELT specialist to assist in the co-ordination and administration of our core ELT and specialist communication skills programmes and ELT testing service, as a senior member of the English Language Unit.

Tasks will include creating, up-dating and maintaining programme materials and tests and liaising with an accreditation body. The postholder will be expected to play a leading part in the implementation of computer-and web-based learning blended with our classroom courses. There will be a modest teaching load.

Terms: Salary ranging between KD1300 - KD1400 per month, furniture allowance (once only), fares, 45 days annual leave, interest-free loan, gratuity, government medical scheme.
