A) Deputy Head of English (1 post)
The English Department wishes to fill a vacancy which has arisen due to illness. The English Department is one of the most successful academic divisions in the King Faisal School and is seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the vacancy of Deputy Head of English.
The Deputy Head of English will assist the Head of English in the running of the department. Duties will include teacher training, supervision, organization of workshops, curriculum development, strategic planning, recruitment, public relations, liaising between the department and general administration as well as troubleshooting. The English Department is divided into four sections; Elementary School, Intermediate School, High School and the University Preparation Program. The Deputy Head of English will serve the whole department but will be based in, and have primary responsibility for, the Elementary School as part of the school's commitment to improve early learning.
Pay and Conditions
1. 36,000 USD (inc. bonus) per calendar year tax free

Minimum Criteria
Native English speaker (British, US, Canadian, Irish, Australian, NZ)
55 Years old or under / Male
Bachelor's degree in English, applied linguistics or education
5 years experience
Computer literate
Desirable Criteria
Master's degree in English, applied linguistics, TESOL or education
Teaching certificate (CELTA, DELTA, PGCE, QTS etc.)
Supervisory experience
Elementary teaching experience
POST BEGINS 19th AUGUST (this can be flexible for the right candidate)
B) Resident Tutor (1 post)
An affiliated organization requires a resident tutor who can work with a young member of a family and live with them. The tutor should be capable and experienced in GCSE English and / or math, as well as being of good character. The family would prefer a British national who is female, but these are not essential criteria for the right candidate. This is not a TEFL position and requires GCSE experience and an education, English or math major (or a scientific field with a high degree of math.)
