Multimedia Specialist/EFL Instructor needed, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description: Will work with and support the English School Supervisor at the Royal Saudi Air Defense English School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Duties include, but are not limited to: develop and maintain online and computer-assisted language learning courses, facilitate multimedia and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) class set ups and scheduling laboratory time for instructor, maintain accurate student records, enforce student policies, maintain functioning labs, develop and provide students with written course expectations and maintain progressive student evaluation methods, may produce reports related to ESOL online and computer-assisted learning as requested, supervise and train EFL staff, teach traditional EFL classes as required and other duties as assigned by the English School Supervisor or the Military Section Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
At least one year of experience working in a multimedia or CALL Lab. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintains records, generate reports and develop curriculum. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to the everyday operation of the multimedia lab. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to obtain a work visa for Saudi Arabia.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an Accredited University
in English, Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language, Education, Foreign Languages, or Linguistics.

Desired Qualifications:
Strong background in software development/authoring tools such as Hot Potatoes, Blackboard, eCollege and other internet and computer software to perform duties. Familiarity with current commercial multimedia/CALL software products such as Ellis, Side by Side

Desired Education: Advanced degree in English, Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language, Education, Foreign Languages, or Linguistics
