I soo want to buy one of these gorgeous cars but want to know which of the FTO'S HAS THE BEST SPEC (A girl needs some luxury) and whats the difference between the GPX and GPR?
Also on the subject of gearboxes...anyone recommend manual or auto..I'd always go for manual but would love to have some opinions..

I bought a 1995 GPX not so long ago, the difference between GR and GPX is a) MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control system) adds another 25 horsepower boosting it to 200 and gives better acceleration and gear ratios. also, better brakes, the GR has disc brakes on the front and drum brakes in the rear while the GPX has Ventilated disc brakes in the front and disc brakes in the rear giving you better stopping power... always a plus... the GPX also has side intrusion bars as standard and you will be hard pressed to find any other model with this safety feature... basically, get the GPX if possible, its just better over all and look for extras... ABS, Traction Control (TCL) etc... but dont go for the sunroof... its just ugly and causes so many problems... (the toolbag even comes with a tool for manually shutting the sunroof "if" it fails) also, look for damage to the plastic seatbelt rests bolted to the shoulder of the seats, these get snapped off when people pull the seats forward without taking the seatbelt out and are frequently missing... again, you will be hard pressed to find one without damage to it....
shop around, prices can vary, and look for that gpx if possible... hope this clears up a few things

Hi, i`m James calling from Malta, i`m an Fto owner, and I need to tune my Fto, i`m thinking to fit a turbo on it, by the way my engine is 1.8 ltr, my project is to fit a whole cylinder head completed of an Evo 2.0 ltr, do you know some one that`s crazy enough like me that had done this before?, and what is your opinion about it? do you have any suggestions? feel free to send me any suggestions on my e-mail address listed above.

Hi I was wondering if anybody knows the difference in 0-60 time between a manual versus the triptronic version, for the different models, particulary the GPX, GR and GX versions, I seem to remember there being a substantial difference. Thanks
