Hi hoping that someone can help me I am purchasing my first FTO which has service history etc but Insurance company need to know if it is fitted with a factory immolbizer to cover for theft it has an alam and tracker fitted but they need confirmation on immoberlizer. Hoping someone can help me out as do need cover for theft as well.

If you turn off your alarm and leave for about 1 minute, then try starting your engine. If it starts then it hasn't got an immobiliser, if it doesn't start then it has one, set the alarm then unset it to start. Some alarms come with immobilisers but I have an FTO and a Supra, neither came with alarm or immobiliser. The FTO had a TOAD fitted and came with and the Supra had a Cat 1 fitted also with an immobiliser. Hope thi helps
