Are those ads with the City Superintendent encouraging people to buy locally to help the schools just a slap in the face to the County Schools and citizens of Cullman County? Perhaps, a little rubbing it in your face smirk and attitude from the City and the City newspaper? We all know that when you buy locally and pay the half-cent sales tax it goes to the City Schools. The County can't get a half-cent tax for their schools but shoppers who shop in the City of Cullman who are from the County are giving their money to the city schools.
It looks like a slap with a big grin toward the county.
Why does the paper seem to be against the County Schools and favors everything about the city schools. Did they forget the City DID pass a half-cent tax against the will of the people for their schools?

County kids deserve the same opportunities as the city students.
They both deserve it.
