Doug Williams vs Zebulon LittleOctober 30 2009 at 9:35 AM No score for this post | Anonymous (no login) |
| The blogger over at politicalparlor.net has Doug Williams listed as a rumored candidate against Zeb next year. First off Im not convinced these two will be the nominees a year from now for this senate seat. Sure I know what Zeb has said publicly but Im not buying it just yet and theres already two GOPers running besides Doug. But if it does happen I think Doug will do pretty well in Cullman County. I wonder though how he would do out in Moulton and those areas. If Artur Davis becomes a drag at the top of the ticket as a lot of people think then that might drag Zeb down in an old yellow dog rural white area area like Moulton and cause him to lose the seat. |

I would not support Doug simply because of his stand on support for the county school system. I shudder to think of him in a State legislative position. |

Does not support helping the county schools with the half-cent as the city council did for the city schools. |

Doug Williams may not run and Ron Sparks maybe the democratic candiate.
In any case Zeb will be hard to beat, the surprise loser will be Rep. Fields. |

James Fields and Zeb Little both can be beaten, there is alot of time for someone more qualified to announce. |

Current members of the house and senate have done nothing , squat, zip. They should not be reelected. Fields and Little are on the top of the do nothing list. |

A true conservative running as a Republican in next year's primary.
She's tired of the 'good ole boy' network on BOTH sides of the ticket.

A mortgage broker as a state senator, why not, she could bring her extensive financial background and experience to manage our state finances. What are her qualifications? |

Here we go again. A simple, "What are her qualifications?" brings out the ugly.
So, what are her qualifications? I'm not asking what her views are, just what makes her qualified to serve. |
