Any updates

by

is there any chance we will get to see how the virtual season ends or at least get to read "girls night out" if it is possible i know there are some people who would love to pick up the torch and continue this virtual season, if its creators can not continue it.

Re: Any updates

by reader

Even I am wondering if there will be a continuation. Its been so long since the last update. If someone could continue this, it would be great. I have come to really like the original character of this series.

On Hold...

by AEC

Unfortunately, life seems to have taken all of us in different directions. Stephen, David and I are planning to meet at Torcon3, so hopefully that will re-energize us. Will advise!

Just another fan of this series (and Rimstalker and Star and Circle) who is anxiously waiting for the continuation of Virtual Season 6, (and of course 7, 8, 9...if at all possible).

We're still here !

by Diarmuid

Just in case the authors think we've given up on them, there are still plenty of fans out here waiting in anticipation for any more. I have to agree this and Rimstalker/Star and Circle are brilliant. More please!

Anything Happening?

by Derm

Just wondering if there are any stories in the pipeline on either this storyline, or Star and Circle?
Here's hoping.

I'd answer but ...

by

... I have been less than successful in my own attempts to get an answer to that question, having no response to any e-mails I've sent.

If I don't hear anything some time in the near future, I do plan to release VS6 Episode 18: Black Storm Falling on my own web-site.

In the meantime, another shameless Darkness Wakes plug: http://darknesswakes.freewebsitehosting.com/

Hang tight, people!

by

I know things have slowed down here, as was perhaps inevitable, and I apologize on the behalf of all of us to our patient readers. Both Stephen and David are having Real Life issues, and I've been slogging through other waters myself, but we certainly haven't forgotten about VS6! Last I heard from Stephen, he'd gotten a bit more on GNO done, and I've been taking the occasional whack at Ep. 16.

I've also been rewatching B5 from the rather odd angle of trying to put myself in the p.o.v. of, of all people, Gandalf - was very impressed by McKellen's portrayal, and am in the midst of doing up the story of how the G-wiz gets "depontificated" by the Rena'a (see Infinite Regress 1 on my website) - verrrrry interesting, watching selected B5 eps while swotting up on the LoTR apocrypha and...well, other research needed for this story (more anon!). I daresay some of these ideas will find their way into the latter half of VS6, once we get the momentum up again.

Meanwhile, Gareth Williams has another chunk of his epic up, so check it out, if you haven't already!

ETA of episode 15 and Star & Circle website??

by Michael K

Dear David

As there hasn't been a new episode since May last year. I have a couple of questions which you most likey get all the time.(Sorry I had to ask)

1: When is the ETA of the next episode of B5-VS6,

and

2: When will the VS6 sister site of Star & Circle return.

Even a rough time frame would be extremely appreciated.(especially for S&C)

Looking foward to your reply

Well, all I can say is that I haven't spoken to David in a while and haven't talked to Steve in a long while but I will try to get an ETA and post something.

In the meantime, I'll plug another Dark Thunder story:

What's happening?

by Derm

Are there any signs of either this storyline or Star and Circle storyline continuing? Even an "in progress" would be encouraging. Don't mean to sound pushy, just missing both stories.

Quite understandable - but the muse speaks when it wants to, and not a moment before. Not to go into to much detail, but Anne was correct in saying 'Real Life' has been interfering with my creative side for the past year or so. However (and that's a BIG however) in the past week or so I've begun re-reading everything I wrote between '98 and '01 (trying to get back into the mood, so to speak) with the aim of finishing off 'THE SEEKER'S FIRE' in the very near future. Unfortunately the long term plan of a five cycle arc is now probably not gonna come about, as I'd like to start working on my own, original stuff soonish. For news on this, visit my website over the next six months or so.

Speaking of which (big drum roll!) my collected B5 stories to date can now be found at the following URL:

http://ca.geocities.com/dgolding2001

And while you're waiting for new stuff, both original and otherwise... a plug for an effort even more complex, twisted (AND gut-splitting hilarious) then mine:

http://www.sluggy.com

to introduce yourself to a certain online comic strip that goes by the name of SLUGGY FREELANCE. And how'd I hear of it? Blame an author by the name of John Ringo...

Thanks for bothering to reply. I'm both glad and grateful that the Muse has begun to speak to you again, and I look forward to more great stories from you. Hope everything has turned out for the best in your "REAL LIFE " as well, as it must take up a lot of your time on the writing.
Best regards

Speculation Anybody?

by

In an effort to start some conversation here and maybe to something to make the waiting for the next episode a little less difficult, thought I'd try to stir things up a little bit.

Well everybody, we're fourteen episodes into twenty-two episode arc. Surely you all have some ideas, theories, wild-guesses as to what will happen next. Post! Theorize! Discuss!

And now that I've made a random insane post, time to go back to being bored.

Speculation on the VS6 story

by Michael K

My theory on what may happen in B5-VS6 is that the Swarm will make a re-appearence in the later episodes and that they will become effectively a third force in the B5 universe and they will not come alone.

The Shadows created weapons that they probably have forgotten about. The Swarm was one, maybe they are aware of others and will align with them. They will want revenge against the Interstellar Alliance for getting rid of their masters and the Drakh for their deception. Also we dont know what the Vorlons created aside from Lyta and others like her.

Are they a force in my stories that may reappear? Perhaps. Will it be during the rest of the VS6 arc as written?

Well...

>The Shadows created weapons that they probably have >forgotten about. The Swarm was one, maybe they are >aware of others and will align with them.

Not quite - the Shadows didn't create the Swarm - the Swarm creatures were the template on which the Shadows designed their ships - recall the word 'descendants' that the Swarm used in reference to the Shadow warships... equally at home both in space, hyperspace or underground.

Can't say for sure, it's been a while since I've talked with everyone but I'm hoping it will be pretty soon.

On the plus side, Episode 18 on my end is all but ready to go. I've been spending the last week or two working on dusting it off and revising it as I wrote it over the summer and there's some parts I'm not happy with.

As the Webmaster and one of the other producers, I'd love to be able to answer this question, unfortunately I haven't heard from Stephen Barringer in weeks - and the last time seemed to indicate that Real Life has done a great job of preventing him from working on VS6 of late.

Then again I haven't been much better; between work and other commitments, I've barely written any of my own stuff this year (see S&C message above)

Re: Where is Website?

Due to various problems I had with my last service provider, the sites I ran were canceled rather abruptly when I terminated my contract with them at the end of August. I've only just come back online at home in the last day or two with a new ADSL account.

VS6 is back online at the following location:

http://www.telusplanet.net/public/dgolding/vs6/VS6.htm

My other stories and improvements to the page will follow as time warrants.

Again, my apologies for the interruption in service.

The past six months have not been kind to my creative side - between work and other commitments, I haven't had time to write, let alone rebuild my website properly. But... Xmas break is coming, almost two weeks long because of the way the Big Day falls this year. So I'm hoping to get S&C back online sometime between Dec 21st and New Year's Day. Location yet to be determined...
